Chawnta’ Marie Van graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelors of Science in dance. She has traveled all over the globe being trained and developing techniques in all genres of the dance field. As a principle dancer in Broadway stage shows like Showboat and The First Noel, shes used her built expertise learned during her time as a company dance member for Earl Mosley and Deeply Rooted Dance companies. Her previous resume and connections have a myriad of ranges from Debbie Allen Dance Academy to Alvin Ailey as production pieces. Chawnta’ is currently a touring dancer for recording artist, Lizzo. Her current choreography work has been displayed on the Amazon Prime new hit show “Lizzo’s Watch out for the big girls”. Now hailing in performance dance, Chawnta’ has graced many stages with her dance experience and performances ranging from major TV productions such as the BET, MTV, Grammy, and Brit awards Shows and Saturday Night Live. Chawnta’ Marie is very passionate about teaching dance and life experiences to the next generation so they are able to flourish in this dance world.
